Elibriea seeks to move fighter jet-like sports car from the ether

The Middle East has seen a great deal of automotive commotion of late, the majority of it due to Anthony Jannarelly and his numerous United Arab Emirates-based tasks. A brand-new prospective gamer has now emerged from surrounding Qatar with the launch of an extreme cars principle that looks like a four-wheeled Stealth Bomber. The business and 525-hp concept automobile pass the name Elibriea. The Middle East’s elite have long been major consumers of the world’s most pricey automobiles, but just recently have we seen the pattern of sports cars designed in and for the marketplace. Automobiles from the likes of W Motors and Zarooq definitely aren’t suitable for everyone’s tastes, however they have enlivened the worldwide auto market with fascinating new ideas and aesthetic appeals. Elibriea revealed its idea automobile at the Qatar Motor Show this week, and it’s nothing if not an intriguing experiment in looks. With surface areas sharp and angular sufficient to make the Lamborghini Veneno look buttery smooth, the car feels more like a military jet or armored vehicle than the luxury cars the Qatar business wishes to establish. The concept automobile was created and established by Elibriea Automotive founder Abdul Wahab Ziaullah under the Undergrad Research Experience Program at Texas A&M University’s Qatar campus. Qatar-based retail and distribution company Ali Bin Ali Group sponsored the job. The short front-end and dramatically angled windscreen are similar to extreme wedge shaped concept vehicles like the famous Bertone Lancia Stratos HF No. The long, arched cabin is sandwiched between that front-end and an equally short, sharp back, giving the car an extremely disjointed 3/4 profile. It feels like numerous designs mashed sloppily into a single vehicle. The side windows, in particular, appear like they were simply squeezed between the roofing system and belt line out of requirement, instead of actively styled. The pairing of stealth headlights (we’re still looking for them) with big, exaggerated taillights further contributes to the design dissonance. Elibriea says that the principle features a mid-mounted 525-hp GM V6 engine listed below its carbon fiber skin. The business puts measurements at 126 x 102 x 59 in (L x W x H, 3.2 x 2.6 x 1.5 m) and weight around 2,200 lb (1,000 kg). Unfortunately, there are no efficiency estimates following those standard specs. The design does not do it for us, but we do respect when a vehicle designer has some enjoyable outside the box rather of just copying something that’s been done once again and once more. And to his credit, Ziaullah appears extremely open to criticism and development. “I’m excited and curious to know people’s feedback on Elibriea, especially the views of the critics,” he told Qatar’s Doha News. “I will make use of all their remarks constructively to form the hypercar. I wish to make sure it exceeds Elibriea.” The “hypercar” Ziaullah references is the a lot more effective production sports car he wants to build at Elibriea. The company’s site recommends the vehicle will be an 800-hp mid-engine RWD named Equvallas. A university-supported sports car with a strange, impractical design from a country without any history of building cars has all the makings of “vaporware never ever to be seen once again.” The fact that Elibriea is all at once obtaining sponsors and marketing March 2016 preorders doesn’t include self-confidence, so we continue to be hesitant about this automobile having life beyond the 2016 Qatar show. We’ll wait and see … and really hope that we’re incorrect. Source: Elibriea, Qatar Motor Show
