SE Boscombe improves fleet versatility with DAF CF19 January 2016

When transport firm SE Broscombe protected new business requiring a sturdy, truck-mounted crane, it picked a DAF CF 8×2, describing it as its “truck of option”. If something is working well, we see no reason to change it.”The latest acquisition, a DAF CF 8×2 ticks the boxes, says Brooke. “The new HMF 60t/m crane raises 10 tonnes at truck side and 3.3 tonnes up to 14.6 m away, which lets us talk to clients about a lot more work than when we just had a lighter Hiab device.”The genuine distinction though, is that the CF is so much lighter than equivalent quality trucks that, even with the huge brand-new crane, we can get an authentic 10-tonne payload on it. Its lift and steer axles also offer us terrific manoeuvrability on structure and building websites.
